This feature takes all the required Information of a Part, BOM, etc. convert it into an XML file. When a Promotion Request for a Part or BOM gets approved, the XML file will get automatically created in a Centralized Location and that XML File will be pulled over by the ERP.

• Promotion Request Validator is a special feature for Windchill developed by CADOpt Technologies which automatically alerts the Design Engineers about the Life cycle state of Parent and child parts in an Assembly while sending a Promotion Request. It won’t allow the users to create a new Promotion Request for an assembly unless every child objects to be in ‘Released’ state.
